“Coaching at Maryville Christian has been one of the biggest blessings in my life. It has created lasting relationships and memories that will last a lifetime. I have been blessed to coach many great young men, but the biggest blessing has been how they have made an incredible impact on my life that has led to me being a better man and coach.”

Coach Brian Turbyfill is in his fourth year as the Head Men’s Basketball Coach and Athletic Director for Maryville Christian School. He has been coaching basketball at MCS for the last 7 years. Originally from Lenoir City, TN, Coach Turbyfill played High School basketball at Concord Christian School in Knoxville where he was a 4-year starter and 3-year captain. Coach Turbyfill is married to his wife Makayla and considers her and his parents as the biggest supporters in his coaching career.

​Coach Stephen Hudson is in his fourth year as the Head Women’s basketball coach here at Maryville Christian School. He came to MCS after being the Varsity Assistant Basketball Coach at Greenback High School. Coach Hudson is a retired Air Force veteran and is married to his wife, Shana. Together they have 5 children and have lived all over the world throughout the course of their marriage.
