We have had a great start to the school year. The students have adjusted well and everyone is getting into their new routines. As we head into week 2, here are a few updates.
Important Dates: Here are some important dates over the next couple of months.
Aug 16: Fall play auditions for 6th-12th grade students. If you have questions contact Scott Greer.
Aug 17: New Family New-B-Que at MCS at 5:30.
Aug 25: Get to know Eagle Force (PTO) at Beard Brothers Coffee at 6 PM.
Aug 30: Middle School Fall Sports Pictures (contact your student's coach for more info).
Sept 4: Labor Day (No School)
Sept 5: Yearbook Pictures for all PK - 11th grade students.
Sept 7: New Mom Coffee at MCS at 9 AM.
Sept 28: 9th grade trip to Creation Museum. More info to come.
Sept 29: Abbreviated day of school for all students.
Oct 2-6: Fall Break (No School)
Lunches- Lunches for next week need to be ordered by 8:00 am on Friday morning. You can view pricing and ordering instructions HERE.
Weightroom- We have a wonderful opportunity to add a weight room to MCS. However, we need to raise $20,000 in the next three weeks. If you are interested in learning more, please contact our Athletic Department. To give, visit THIS LINK.
Visiting Campus- Please remember that all campus visitors need to check in at the main office. A valid driver's license is required to check in.
Sports Calendar- There are too many sports events to list in our weekly update. Please view our ATHLETIC CALENDAR for a list of all athletic-related activities.
Volleyball/New-B-Que- This year we want to encourage you to make connections with the community here and will highlight different events throughout the year. Next Thursday is Girls Volleyball “trimatch” at home and also the “New-B-Que,” an event for families new to MCS. Come support our Lady Eagles and meet new families! Matches begin at 4:30 and concessions will be available for current families to purchase snacks.
Car Tags- Please have your student's car tag clearly visible when coming through the line!
PE Attire- If you have not yet purchased your Lower School PE shirt (Kindergarten - 5th and 7th grade) or Team Sports kit (grades 9 - 12), please do so. Here is the link to our online store. The turnaround time is 2 - 3 weeks. Students need to have their proper attire by September 5.
Field Trip Shirts- Please remember that all Lower School students will need a field trip shirt in order to participate in school field trips. This helps improve the safety of our school trips. You can purchase the shirt at the link listed above.
Team Sports Physicals- Students taking the High School Team Sports class need to have their physicals turned in to Mr. Holden by Friday, August 18, 2023.
